Speed Limits Issues:  A boulevard pace from Spadina to Parliament

The required narrowing of viaduct lanes east of Spadina (proximity to Rogers Centre, CityPlace etc.) will create a much more neighbourly traffic flow through the downtown core than the existing expressway. New technologies such as canopy deflectors will ensure there is virtually no “noise pollution”.

The few extra seconds of boulevard travel on the higher capacity viaduct will still result in an enormous net time-saving for commuters since gridlock will be eliminated.
